Hype for upcoming film Coolie of Superstar Rajinikanth has gone beyond all limits after announcing its second single. Entitled ‘Monica’, it will release on July 11, 2025, at 6 PM, and will be a vibrant, vintage-style dance number, featuring sizzling Pooja Hegde.
Sung and Composed by energetic Anirudh Ravichander, the track will bring back retro vibes but here’s a twist. It was also teased on social media by the makers, who put up, “The Monica fever is about to begin! #Coolie Second Single #Monica featuring Pooja Hegde releasing on July 11, 6 PM. #Coolie worldwide from August 14th.”
That’s a number that comes at a prime promotional time for Coolie, which is one of year’s most anticipated Tamil films. Rajinikanth’s fashionable attire in the film had already got everybody very hyped, and here comes its second single, which should ignite more fire in people’s bells.
Pooja Hegde, who has been pivotal to the film, will have a glamorous new look for this song. She will have a look of ‘Monica’ for this flashback number and fans are awaiting her moves and screen presence when she shares screens with Superstar.
Anirudh, who has provided us chart-toppers with Superstar Rajinikanth in their previous associations like Petta and Jailer, seems all set to work his magic once again with Coolie. His lively composition and singing will probably make Monica a foot-tapping hit.
Under the direction of Lokesh Kanagaraj, Coolie will see a worldwide theatrical release on August 14, 2025, just prior to Independence Day weekend. Star power, robust music, and a well-promising script have all joined forces to make the film all ready to become a big-box-office success.
